Fiber Build Areas

Our crews have been working hard to bring fiber throughout our serving area. We are actively working on our 2026 fiber construction projects. At the same time, we are also busy engineering and designing future fiber projects as well as actively applying for available State and Federal grant funding to help complement our own capital investments. If you are included in one of our current build areas, we will contact you to let you know that fiber is coming to your location and when your address is ready to be converted, we will reach out to you to schedule your installation.

While we continue to convert customers to fiber at a record pace, we also understand that our work is by no means complete. These are large capital construction projects that have many moving parts and pieces. Building fiber to everyone will take time, but each and every day, we are making progress.

Fiber Is available

The mainline fiber-optic network has been completed and customer conversions are in progress. If you have an aerial service drop to your home, you will be among the first to be converted. If you have an underground drop that has not been installed yet, it will take a bit longer for us to complete your installation. Placement of underground services are more complex and take more time and resources to complete. Thank you for your patience as we work to get everyone converted to fiber.

2026 Fiber Build area - Fiber Construction IS Currently Underway

Good news! We are actively building in this area. What can you expect? A lot goes into building a fiber-optic network and many things need to happen to build fiber to your location. This involves running strand and the mainline fiber cable in the air, along with any sections of underground cable that are part of the design. Our crews then fusion splice everything together, install all of the electronics, splitter cabinets and complete final network turn-up and testing. Once all of this is completed, we will then begin running service drops and scheduling customer installations.

If you have an aerial service drop to your home, you will be among the first to be converted. As you can see, these are large capital construction projects that have many moving parts. It can feel like a lifetime while you are waiting for your area to be converted. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to expand our fiber-optic network.

2026 Engineering and design Area - Engineering currently underway

We are in the process of engineering our fiber-optic network in this area. During this phase, we will be conducting fieldwork and site surveys as well as working with local utilities, property owners, and securing state and local permits. We anticipate construction in your area to begin sometime in 2026 once this work is completed.
